Stand Up Paddleboarding

If you are looking for a fun way to get out on the water then this is the experience for you. Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is taking the world by storm and once you have developed your balance on the board the options to you are endless. Whether it is as a stress relief taking a relaxing paddle along our beautiful coastline in quiet and tranquil surroundings, racing your SUP, taking part in SUP Yoga and Fitness or simply riding the waves back into shore, Stand Up Paddleboarding has something for everyone. The activities are a great way to exercise and get fit and on a calm and clear day, it really can be the most amazing experience on the water.

Our SUP instructor offers a variety of courses and clubs for people of all ages and abilities which are listed below. Come and see what all the fuss is about, once you have experienced this activity you will understand why this is one of the world’s fastest growing sports.

 Beginner Group SUP Lesson: 1 hour 30min – £20 per person  

10% off when you book in a Group of 4 or more (Group instruction of up to 8 per instructor) 

  • The lesson will consist of 60 minutes tuition and  30 minutes free practice 
  • Our beginner SUP lesson is a perfect way to start your SUP Journey.
  • The lesson will cover all aspects of Stand Up Paddle Boarding including an introduction to the equipment, weather and water environment, paddle technique, stance, turing and safety.
  • This session is designed for complete beginners or for those who have done a little stand up paddle boarding before and want to learn more.
  • All the equipment will be provided including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, all you need to bring is your swimwear to wear underneath and some suitable footwear to wear down to the waters edge.
  • Lesson are available everyday, timings are flexible. 

 

Private SUP Lesson  -£30 Per Person Per Hour (Maximum of two people)  

  • Spend one/two hours out on the water by yourself or with a partner.
  • An opportunity to enhance and develop your skills on a one to one basis with our ASI Accredited instructors.
  • This is available to any level from complete beginner to advanced, and we’ll tailor the session around what you’re hoping to get from it.
  • All equipment will be provided including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, all you need to bring is your swimwear to wear underneath and some suitable footwear to wear down to the waters edge.
  • Lesson are available everyday, timings are flexible. 

 

Group Experience -Got an event coming up? Take it out on the water! 

SUP Birthday Parties / Hen and Stag do’s /  Cooperate / Team building Session out on the water 

  • Stand Up Paddle boarding is a great group activity, with lots of fun to be had by all.
  • We can cater for all types of different events.
  • We can tailor your session to exactly how you want it, whether it’s a full on, light- hearted yet competitive or just a day of having fun on the water.

SUP YOGA

Offering weekly SUPYoga classes in Folkestone Harbour. SUPYoga includes everything you get from a traditional yoga class but on a paddleboard in the water, making it that much more fun! The sessions focus on core strength and balance as well as a full body work out.  Sessions will run every weekend throughout the summer and are open to all levels – from beginners who have never tried yoga before, to more advanced yogis who fancy a challenge off the mat onto water!

It’s £16 per person OR £75 for a block of 5 sessions that can be used throughout the summer. This price includes lesson, board hire, buoyancy aid and use of wetsuits if you need one. If you have your own board, then it’s just £10 for the lesson.

Thursdays nights is SUP Night in Folkestone! 

Learn to SUP – (6 week Beginners Course)

5:30 – 6:30pm ( 1st Course Starts on Thursday 10th May, 2018)

This 6 week course will enable you to develop your SUP skills from a complete beginner to competent paddler and provide you with a great introduction to stand up paddle boarding. The sessions will focus on, paddling skills, SUP safety and your environment, SUP equipment, paddle strokes and turning.

Paddle the Distance (Couch to 10k)

6:45-7:45/8:00pm ( First session starts on Thursday 10th May, 2018)

These sessions will help you take your paddle boarding to the next level, building up the miles and meeting fellow paddlers that are up for a challenge. By the end of the summer, we’ll have you easily paddling 10k.
